Urinary bladder
How to spot it. A muscular sac low in the pelvis, behind the pubic bone; it rises as it fills.
What it does. Stores urine arriving from the kidneys and expels it under voluntary control.
Where it sits. Receives both ureters at the trigone and empties through the urethra.
